• The Treaty provisions do not specify which level of the CJEU has jurisdiction of a given procedure. Instead, the TFEU simply speaks about “the Court”. The jurisdiction in a concrete case has to be determined according to the above rules.
• Under Art. 256(3) TFEU, the General Court has jurisdiction to deal with requests for preliminary rulings in specific areas laid down by the Statute; these areas are _defined in Art. 50b of the Statute.
